James Lloyd Matthews Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2023, at the age of 79, James Lloyd Matthews (Wilson, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Ray Matthews and Thelma Tomlinson Matthews; and his brothers, Royce, Marvin and Gerald Matthews.
He is survived by: his wife Joan S. Matthews; his children, Jennifer Sloper (Mike) of Simpsonville, SC and James "Jimmy" Matthews, Jr. (Tatiana) of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Carson Sloper, Bennett Sloper, Maximus Matthews and Luna Matthews.
