He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy F. Stott and Gertrude F. Stott (Jean W. Stott); and his brother Rupert Stott. He is survived by: his wife Joyce G. Stott of Wilson; his children, Lisa Stott Gammon (Ronnie) of Burlington, NC, Sharon Stott Walker (Tim) of Wake Forest, NC and Michael Kevin Stott (Sherry) of Stacy, NC.; his stepdaughters, Lynn Johnson (Sherrod) and Marcia White; and his brother-in-law Earl Wilson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, and many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
