He is survived by: his wife Mary Nichols Bonta; his children, Elizabeth Radford (Chris) of Wilson, Michelle Webb (Mike) of Lucama, Tammy Bonta of Wilson and Dustin Bonta (Krystle) of Wilson; his siblings, Shirley Adkins of Mechanicsville, MD, James Bonta (Virginia) of Kinston and Wayne Bonta (Linda) of Woodbridge, VA; and his grandchildren, Austin, Shane, Caleb, Aria, Savannah and Jacob.
