She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Charlie (Katie Staton); her children, Charlie Junior Staton (Katie) of Tarboro, NC, Annie Ruth Staton Gilbert, Joseph Staton (Ernestine) of Tarboro, NC, Dorothy Massey (Grady) of Grand Prairie, Gladys Scott (Lee) of Fort Worth and Sherlene Staton Woodson of Arlington, Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Leah S. Vines of Pinetops, NC, Annie Mae Ellis of Pinetops, NC, Catherine Wooten of Baltimore, MD, Tommie Lee Staton of Wilson, NC and James Staton of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
