It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Starling (Wilson, North Carolina), who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Starling and Fannie Dorsey Starling of Wilson County; and his brothers, Paul, Buddy and Billy Starling.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Lane Starling; his stepchildren, Sharon Runtas (Jason) of Fremont, Kim Batchelor of Elm City, Wendy Taylor of Gloucester and David Edwards (Brandy) of Newport; and his siblings, Shirley Stallings (Kenneth), JoAnn Harrell of Macclesfield, Becky Joyner (Ray) of Pinetops, Raymond Starling (Gail) of Wilson and Ernie Starling (Gwen) of Dunn.
