She was predeceased by: her parents, Lerory Parrish and Alice Parrish; and her siblings, Emmie Pittman, Ellen Evans, Mildred Merritt, Edna Holmes, Elgia Parrish, Dorothy Parrish, Carolyn Parrish, Archie Parrish, Gurney Parrish and Paul Parrish.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Aycock of Rocky Mount and Beverly Aycock of Wilson; the father of her children Lewis Aycock of Wilson; her children, Jeff Edwards (Melinda) of Elm City and Sharon Bowden of Spiveys Corner; her grandchildren, Jerica Spell of Knoxville, Julia Braswell (Trey) of Spring Hope, Harrison Edwards of Elm City and Michaela Herring (Nicky) of Autryville; her great grandchild Avery; and her brother Wilton Parrish of Fremont. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Aycock Family Cemetery (2101 NC-222, Fremont, NC 27830).
