It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Holloman (Wilson, North Carolina), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Stephen Ellis; and her siblings, Clarence Ross Ellis and Doris Mae Ellis. She is survived by: her husband Rufus Roger Holloman; her children, Pamela Barrett Bachara of Wilson, NC, Anna Barrett Appert (Robert) of Wilson, NC, Margaret Barrett Ward (Randy) of Wilson, NC and C. Drexel Barrett III (Linda) of Apex, NC; her stepchildren, Mike Holloman of Elm City, NC, David Holloman (Angie) of Elm City, NC and Cindy Tucker (Tony) of Newport, NC; her grandchildren, Erica S. Swartzfager, Jessica W. Parris, Madison M. Ward, John Drexel Barrett (Ashton) and Lauren E. Barrett; her stepgrandsons, Levi Holloman, Trevor Holloman, Matthew Northcutt and Eric Northcutt (Whitney); her great grandchildren, Savannah Swartzfager and Ian Northcutt; her nieces and nephews, Clarence Ellis, Stevie Ellis, Vickie Revill and Judy Matthews; her sisters-in-law, Edna Taylor of Wilson, NC and Ann Braswell of Wilson, NC; and her pet Harmony. She is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
