She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Willard Moore Herring and Groves Leon Herring; and her sister Nancy Lu. She is survived by: her aunt Daisy Herring; her husband Dr. John Gay; her daughter Catherine Gay; her granddaughter Sophia Berger; her son John David Gay (Theresa Gay); her grandchildren, Connor Gay, Chloe Gay and Brekke Gay; her daughter Anne-Marie Lamont (John Lamont); her grandchildren, Gabriella Lamont and Nathaniel Lamont; her sisters-in-law, Rita Gay and Judy Johnson; her niece Lisa Johnson; and her nephew Mark Johnson.
She remained active in church and mission until illness set in during the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Palm Lake Christian Church in memory of Frankie Gay.
