She was predeceased by: her father Waverly Rooker; her siblings, Lee Rooker, Elsie Lane, Dorothy Grissom and Margaret Holloway; and her husband Willis M. Manning, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Helen Palmer (Eddie) of Southport, Nancy Johnston (Russ) of Bluffton, SC and Mel Manning (Tammy) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Ciara Palmer, Breanna Walder (Tommy), Russell Johnston (Lauren), Allison Hubbard (Ted), Christopher Manning (Meredith), Tyler Manning (Rebecca) and Blake Manning; and her great grandchildren, Autumn, Karsyn, Tanner, Jack, Evelyn, Olivia, Graham, Davis and Noah.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are suggested to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 1423, Wilson, NC 27894-1423.
