He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Fountain Wood and Lena Wood (Stocks); his fiancé Terry Hogg of Kenly; his children, Tina Wood Richardson (Wyatt) of Lake Waccamaw, Erin Nicole Wood Chase (Ritchie) of Ayden and Rodney Wood (Magan) of Ayden; his grandchildren, Matthew Richardson, Taylor Chase, Lauren Elizabeth Richardson and Skyler Wood; his sister Linda Wood Price of Ayden; and the mother of his children Rachel Moye of Ayden.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service (117 NW 3rd St, Snow Hill, NC 28580). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Snow Hill Cemetery (1112 Kingold Blvd, Snow Hill, NC 28580). A reception was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
