With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Barnes (Wilson, North Carolina), who passed away on January 30, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Eston Barnes; her parents, David Lee and Addie Jones Lucas of Wilson County; her sister Lissie "Sissie" Lucas; and her siblings-in-law, Connie Lucas and Johnny Jenkins.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Womble (George) of Wilson, Dot Pittman of Nashville, Jim Barnes (Robin) of Wilson and Ken Barnes (Jo) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Tiffany Jones (Bubba), Crystal Baker (Lee), Brad Womble Nickie Edmundson (Kinsey), Ben Levy and Danielle Levy; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Noah Jones and Carson Baker; and her siblings, Alice Jenkins, Teresa Lucas, Charlie and Donnie Lucas.

Memorials are suggested to Daniels Chapel FWB Church, 4828 Frank Price Church Rd, Wilson, NC 27893-7873.
