She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin G. Lewis and Ella Hales Lewis; her husband Nelson Hibbs; her son Lewis Hibbs; and her siblings, Dwight, Earl, Dewell, Wilber Lewis, Claudie Faison and Rosalee Hough.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Marg Hibbs; her nieces, Rose Godwin and Linda Stone of Wilson; and her friend Pam Rolle of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
