She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Hume Lucas Jr. and Margaret Alexa Reid Lucas; and her husband Maxwell Brooks Fogleman Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Maxwell Brooks Fogleman III (Kelly Baker Fogleman) of Wilson and Samuel Reid Fogleman (Jennifer Misback Fogleman) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Jonathan Lucas Fogleman of Heber City, Carson Elizabeth Fogleman, Maxwell Brooks Fogleman IV, Lillian Clark Fogleman, Samuel Reid Fogleman Jr., William Lucas Fogleman and Charles Rutledge Fogleman; her sister Nancy Lucas Dean of Mackinaw Island, Michigan; her caregiver Angela Smith; and her pets, Tiss and Toot.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Timothy's Episcopal Church (202 Goldsboro St S, Wilson, NC 27893).
