She was predeceased by: her husband Emmette Ray Collier; her parents, John William "Bill" and Mary Jane "Janie" Grimes; and her siblings, Willie Grimes, Donald Grimes and Mary Della Worthington.
She is survived by: her brothers, Dee Grimes, Ralph Grimes and Durwood Grimes; her brother-in-law Franklin Collier; her children, Darrell Keith Collier (Jennifer) of Seaford, VA and Cheryl Collier Ange (Scott) of Newport News, VA; and her grandchildren, Darrell (Sandy), Justin (Erin), Taylor, Tonya (Anthony), Rachel (Drew) and Kaleigh. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson and many other extended family.
