He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Parker; his parents, Durwood Parker and Daisy Williford Parker; and his sisters, JoAnn Williams and LaVera Jeffreys.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa P. Tingen (David) of Stantonsburg; his grandsons, Jonathan Tingen (Melissa) of Elm City and Bradley Tingen (Ally) of Wilson; his great grandchildren, Harper Tingen and Scarlett Tingen; and his siblings, Starr Parker-Markham of Myrtle Beach, SC and Gray Speight (Audrey) of Raleigh.
