It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dosie Ann Kirby of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Tatia P. Giviens of Sharpsburg, NC and Jamilla Kirby of Wilson, NC; her adoptive daughter Sherrye Nicholson of Wilson, NC; her sisters, Annie Pearl Harris of Raleigh, NC and Delores Southers of Pittsburgh, PA; her stepbrother Edward Vick Jr. of Durham; her grandchildren, Janah Artis (Montrell) of Granite Quarry, NC and Jahvion Mann of Wilson, NC; her nieces and nephews, Glenn Harris, Cleveland Jones, Jr., Ainsley Jones, Kimberly Rochelle and Stephanie Jones; her close friend Wilbur Williams; and her friend Charles Cobb (Janiqua Siera Jenkins). She is also survived by relatives and friends.
