She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Murray; her daughter Glenda Murray Pierce; her parents, Mark Sullivan and Sarah Ellis Sullivan; and her brothers, Nathan Sullivan and Marvin Sullivan.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Murray Galyen (Rufus) of Lucama; her grandchildren, Sandy Radford of Michael Vick, G. W, Amie Hadaway, Mark Galyen and Chastity Galyen; and her son-in-law Charles Pierce of Wilson. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
