She was predeceased by: her children, Brenda Louise Lovitt and Morris Nelson Lovitt; her parents, Lonnie Hilliard, Sr. and Hattie Mae Johnson Hilliard; and her siblings, Levi Hilliard, Lonnie Hilliard, Jr., Grant Hilliard, Edward Lee Hilliard, Hattie Montague, Elgin Ford and Emma Hilliard.
She is survived by: her children, David Anthony Lovitt of Lumberton, NC and Glory Hilliard of Irvington, NJ; her grandchildren, Pamela, Fatina, Quindela, Perry, Atilla, Chakita and Elijah; her great grandchildren, Anthony Maurice, Laquan and Alexia; her siblings, Linda Ford of Winston Salem, NC, Sandy Sykes (Leamon) of Princeton, NC and Climmie Hilliard; her sisters-in-law, Beverly Hilliard of Princeton, NC and Beulah Hilliard of Snow Hill, NC; and her niece Shirley Honey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
