She was predeceased by: her husband Lonnie P. Stancil; her parents, Matthew Watson and Mae Turner Watson; her siblings, Delores W. Woodburn, Odell Watson and Merle Watson; and her son-in-law Wilburn Small.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia S. Small of Wilson, Terry Davis (Tim) of Wilson, Lonnie P. Stancil, Jr. (Martha) of Zebulon and Matthew Stancil (Becky) of Wilson; and her close friend Louis "Red" Sylvester of New Jersey. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
