We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2023, at the age of 89, Doretha Joyner Najera (Wilson, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Pedro Pablo Najera; her parents, William Calvin Joyner and Mary Ella Lindsey Joyner; and her siblings, Lettie Mae Vester, Sallie Wooten, Hettie Belle Jones, David Calvin Joyner and William Cornell Joyner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Najera Boykin (Matt) of Raleigh and Maria Najera Vick (Carter) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Emily Lennon of Raleigh, Russell Johnson (April) of Clayton and Bryson Deanhardt; and her great grandchildren, Levi Lennon of Raleigh, Ava Rose Johnson and Saylor Graham Johnson of Clayton.
