She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Robert F. Sloop, Jr. of Wilson, NC; her parents, Burnice Walter Cash and Flavil Liles Cash; and her brother James B. Cash. She is survived by: her children, Robert F. Sloop III of Indialantic, FL, David W. Sloop (Kristen) of Raleigh, NC and Dr. Catherine Sloop Steffee (Craig Steffee) of Farmville, NC; her grandchildren, Robert F. Sloop IV (Jenny), Elizabeth Sloop, John Sloop, Eliza Sloop, Katherine Sloop and Caroline Steffee; and her great grandchild Matthew Sloop.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (414 Sunset Rd NW, Wilson, NC 27893). Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the same location.
