She is survived by: her sisters, Anna Mae and Carrie Mae; her children, Reverend Janice Fay Cox and Ervin Lee Cox (Herbert Cox Jr.); her siblings-in-law, Moses Wilder of Lucama, Three, Annie R. Bullock, D. C. of Washington, Joyce Ann Cox and Geraldine; her uncle Otis Leake of Raleigh, N. C.; and her close friend Browny Cox. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives, and friends.
