He is survived by: his son John Thaddeus Kelly of Raleigh; his mother Helen Kelly of Durham; his fiancé Jan Stephens of Raleigh; his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Judy Kelly of Raleigh; his sister Nancy; his brothers-in-law, Gary Faltinowski of Youngsville and David Hales of Kenly; his close friend Tom Braswell of Wilson; and the mother of his child Anne Christy of Raleigh.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Christ Church (120 E Edenton St, Raleigh, NC 27601).
