He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Baker Britt; his daughters, Candice Rountree (James), Karen Pritchard (Chris) and Anna Britt; his stepsons, Brian Barnes (Terry) and Brent Barnes (Courtney); his grandchildren, Lilah, Charlie, Carson, Jack, Mason, Garrett, Landry and Taylor; his siblings, Joyce Waddell, Ruby Rhora and Braxton Britt; and his nieces, Gail Hinnant and Ann Webb.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (2800 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27896).
