She was predeceased by: her husband G. Rothen Boykin, Sr.; her sons, G. Rothen Boykin, Jr. and Billy Boykin; her parents, James Driver and Sallie Driver; and her siblings, Linda Worley, Edgar Driver and Tommy Driver.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Lou Haynes (J. V.) of Stantonsburg and Teddy Joe Boykin (Linda) of Wilson; and her siblings, Magdelene Proctor (Steve) of Rocky Mount, Margie Burgess of Rocky Mount, Patricia Carter of Arkansas and Berry Driver of Middlesex. She is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Joyners Funeral Home & Crematory (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (2300 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27893). A reception was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896).
