She is survived by: her husband Albert Whitley; her children, Tiffany Godwin of Pikeville and Tyler Godwin of Wilson; her stepson Robert Whitley (Katrina) of Tarboro; her sisters, Deborah Pittman (Doug) of Wilson, Sandra Abrams (Johnny Ingram) of Wilson and Shelby Shearin (Jeff Hilton) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Alexus, Jaylen, Nathan, Sincere, Derrick, Adam and Wyatt; and her great grandchildren, Lotty and Elizha.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shingleton Funeral Home (2413 Nash St NW, Wilson, NC 27894). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
