It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Tant of Wilson, North Carolina, born in Burley, Idaho, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bunot Roberts and Ree Lavon Roberts (Papworth); her siblings, Gordon Roberts, Keith Roberts, Elaine Tanner, Sydawna Hoke, Doris Lammert, Beverly Gilkerson and Clarice Roberts; and her former husband John Robert Tant.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Bishop (Charles) of Wasilla, AK, Robbie Tant (Rhonda) of Selma and Michelle Owens (Greg Bennett) of Wilson; her extended family, Camellia Cortazzo, Teresa "Tress" Pyatte (Rodney), Brenda Finch and Gary Boswell; and her sister Nadine Hackney (Lewis) of Kennewick, WA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
