She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carter (Billy) and Wortley Herring. She is survived by: her children, Carter White (Blythe) and Stephanie Smith (John T.); her sister Wortley Forbes (Vance); her grandchildren, Collins, Carter White, John T. Jr., Carr and Louise Smith; her nieces, Wortley Whitehead Forbes and Lauren Forbes Good (Stacy); and also Henrietta McIntosh.
