She is survived by: her husband Jerry Cooper; her daughters, Kelly Whitley Uzzle (Paul) of Clayton and Beth Whitley Lamm (Joey) of Elm City; her stepchildren, Lynne Cooper of Wilson and Alan Cooper of Bailey; her grandchildren, Gage Long, Bren Long, Asher Uzzle, Ryleigh Lamm and Ryder Lamm; her siblings, Sherry Bissette of Wilson and Tommy Davis of Wilson; and her pet Lil Bit.
