She was predeceased by: her husband Luther Willis "Bill" Simpson; her son Charles Simpson; and her parents, Christopher Lewis and Flossie Lane Lewis of Wayne County. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Simpson of Wilson; her grandchildren, Charlie and Ashley Simpson; and her great grandchild Little Charlie Simpson.
