He was predeceased by: his significant other Shirley Turner Warrick; his mother Mary Creech; his stepfather Manley Gray Creech; and his siblings, James "Tommy" Barnes and Sudie Ellen Coley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Barnes of Wilson and Debra Brock (Donnie) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Joel Barnes (Crista) of Cleveland, TN, Bethany Barnes, BJ Brock (Cari) of Asheville and Lexie Durgin (Nick) of Madison, NH; his great grandchildren, Ava of Cleveland, TN, Ethan of Cleveland, TN and Olivia Barnes of Cleveland, TN; his brother Robert Lee Warrick (Louise); and his close friend Jackie Dale of Wilson.
