He is survived by: his wife Linda Hardison Tyson; his children, Angie Stocks (Andy) of Wilson and Ed Tyson (Jessica) of Wilson; his grandchildren, A. J. Stocks, MacKenzie Stocks and Brady Tyson; and his sister Ruth T. Ramsey of Southport.
