We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2024, at the age of 93, Cecil Williams Sr. of Wilson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Bertine Harris Williams; his daughter Peggy Sue Williams; his parents, Richard Raymond and Lee Parker Williams; and his sisters, Lizzie Williams, Betty Vick, Annie Belle Benson, Louise Wheeless and Pauline Ferrell.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Pope (Jim) of Elm City, Cynthia Williams of Rocky Mount, Cecil T. Williams, Jr. (Helen) of Elm City and David Williams (Linda) of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Cecil T. Williams III (Kelly), Mark Williams (Allison), Kelly Reason (Josh) and Kasey Keel (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Cecil "Thomas" Williams IV, Annabel Williams, Morgan Williams, Maxton Williams, Sadie Reason and Bryson Keel; and his sister-in-law Gladys Williams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
