She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mithcell and Lavotis Mithcell; and her brothers, Wayne and Paul. She is survived by: her husband Joey Gilbert; her daughters, Malea Rhodes of Massachusetts and Jenna Cobb of Raleigh; her granddaughter Virginia; her sister-in-law Margie; her niece Jeanne; and her cousin Mike Mitchell.
