She was predeceased by: her parents, P. W. "Purnie" and Lillie Pearl Draper; and her sister Edith Draper Zimmerman. She is survived by: her husband Donnie H. Garris; her sons, Marty Garris (Andra) of Wilson, Bert Garris (Amy) of Wilson, Butch Garris (Erin) of Durham and Sergio Collar Arias of Alicante, Spain; her grandchildren, Marty Garris, Jr. (Jill) of Southport, Tanner Garris of Wilson, Parker Garris of Wilson, R. J. Garris of Wilson, McKinley Garris of Durham, Brenna Garris of Durham and Addy Garris of Durham; her great grandchild Camden Garris of Southport; and her brother Bill Draper (Edith) of Fort Myers. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
