He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn "Tootsie" Joyce Perry Joyner. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Joyce Joyner, Billy Joyner, Jr. (Gail) and Jason David Joyner (Teresa); and his brother Bobby Joyner (Ann). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
