He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Williams and Mattie Davenport Williams of Wilson County; and his brothers, Carl and Norman Williams. He is survived by: his wife Sara Jones Williams; his children, Beth W. McGhee (Matt) of Sims and David Williams of California; his grandchildren, Caleb, Catherine Cranford and Alyssa McGhee; and his sisters, Llewellyn Jones (Steve) of Durham and Bonnie Stophel (Paul) of Eden.
