We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2023, at the age of 84, Betty Alease Sutton of Wilson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her daughter Sylvia Silver of Nashville; her siblings, Myrtle Parson of Texas, Linda Mantooth (Edward) of Celeste, Joyce Ann King (Benny) of Rocky Mount, Evelyn Wooten of Walstonburg, Allen Moore of Texas and Roy Lee Moore (Arleen) of Sims; and her grandchildren, Christy Tyson (Bryan) of Nashville and Melissa Small of Wilson. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
