She is survived by: her husband John Thomas High III; her daughters, Alison Howard (Jim Howard) of Wilson and Angela High-Pippert (Tim Pippert); her grandchildren, Emily Howard of Wilson, Andrew Howard of Wilson, Caroline Pippert of Evanston and Isabelle Pippert; her siblings, Patricia Powell Montgomery (Bruce Montgomery) and Gilbert Powell (Harriet Powell); and her siblings-in-law, Jim High and Molly High Boone (Larry Boone). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews and many friends.
