She is survived by: her husband Walter Woodard Blake; her sister Mary Miller Montague; her nieces and nephews, Hadley Blake Daniel (Gene) of Wilson, Walter Woodard Blake, Jr. (Eliza) of Wilson and Betsy Miller Blake of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Hadley "Blake" Daniel, Taylor Mangum Daniel, Cameron Miller Daniel, Walter Woodard Blake III, Mason Clement Blake and Mollie Roberts Blake; her pet Gilligan; and her caregivers, Betty and Berniece.
