She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Davis and Rosetta Coley Davis; her siblings, John E. Davis, Albert E. Davis and Carolyn Hodges; and her nephew Omar Harris.
She is survived by: her close friend Bobby Hobbs; her stepdaughter Barbie Burks of Durham, NC; her stepgrandchildren, Damir Hobbs-Augustine of Durham, NC, Mercy Hobbs of Durham, NC and Monse Hobbs-Gales of Durham, NC; her siblings, Grace Parker (Ernest) of Durham, NC, Shelia D. Barnes (Ricky) of Raleigh, NC, Sondra Lucas (John) of Wilson, NC, Vivian Armstrong of Wilson, NC, Terry Worrell of Walstonburg, Dedra Faison (Cedric) of Wilson, NC and Ralph T. Davis of Camden, SC; and her nephews, Michael Harris and Rodney Barnes. She is also survived by several cousins and other relatives and friends.
