He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua Noble Crumpler and Katherine Askew Crumpler; his wife Gwen Cockrell Crumpler; and his brothers, Doug and Johnny Crumpler.
He is survived by: his daughter Monica Pittman (Gerald); his brother Wayne Crumpler (Janie); and his sisters-in-law, Anne Crumpler and Doris Crumpler.
