He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis N. Adams, Sr. and Helen Mitchell Adams; and his wife Mary Ford Adams. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Tracey Ferrell, Shyrell Maxwell (Wayne) and Wendy Bunn; and his sisters, Barbara Sharpe and Sylvia Holdren.
