Alice Applewhite Artis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2024, at the age of 90, Alice Applewhite Artis of Wilson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Alice's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Alice has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stevens Funeral Home (1820 Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy, Durham, NC 27707). A wake was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the L. N. Forbes Ofwb Tabernacle Church (1800 Bishop L N Forbes St S E, Wilson, NC 27893).
