He was predeceased by: his parents, Miriam Ryan and William Ryan; his former wives, Eileen Giblin and Sheila Dickson; his granddaughter Kelly Dockery; and his son Kevin.
He is survived by: his wife Sally; and his brother John B. Ryan. He is also survived by his seven children, thirteen grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
