He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Leon Sewell and Vivian Hampton Sewell; his brother Leon Hampton Sewell; his former wife Anne Carroll; his son Robert Taylor Sewell of Wilmington, NC; his nephews, Mitchell Martin Sewell (Connie) of Asheville, NC and David Hampton Sewell (Susan) of Bluffton, SC.; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hampton and Laney.
