He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Houston Coleman and Nina Rae Housand Byrnes; and his sister Patty Keen. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Coleman; his children, Greg Coleman (Suzanne) of Hopkinsville, KY and Amy Coleman, MD (Elmer) of Georgetown, KY; and his brother Jerry Wayne Coleman. He is also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
