She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Speagle and Margaret Speagle of Lincolnton, NC.; and her sisters, Jackie Hartman and Helen Fenderback (Walter "Keith" Patterson). She is survived by: her daughter Amber; her son-in-law Robert Scharett of Wilmington, NC; her sons, Scottie Teague (Megan Hadden) and Casey Teague (Amanda R. Linken); and her grandchildren, Holden Scharett, Evalyon Teague and Gunnar Teague.
