He is survived by: his wife Linda Carol Sloop; his children, Thomas Hervey Nunalee, IV, Frank Nelson Nunalee and Ashley Elizabeth Nunalee Vaccarelli; his siblings, Augustus Donald Scott, Sr., Kenneth Nolan Nunalee, James Jay Nunalee, Sr., Sabra Jane Nunalee and Betty Jean Ingram; his children-in-law, Robert Louis Vaccarelli, Carmen Elliott Nunalee and Michelle Lefebvre Nunalee; and his grandchildren, Andrew Thomas Nunalee, Ava Grace Vaccarelli, Annabelle Elizabeth Vaccarelli, Lauren Christine Nunalee, Owen Michael Vaccarelli and Scarlett Lynn Vaccarelli. He is also survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law; and dozens of special nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Valley Methodist Church (3788 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403).
