He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Lubbers and Marion Lubbers; his former wife Judith Lubbers; and his brother Milton Lubbers. He is survived by: his brother Bruce Lubbers of Kalamazoo, MI; and his children, Margaret Niemerski of Marne, MI, Susan Cloud of Alexandria, VA, Gail O'Halloran of Wilmington, DE, Patricia Beauchemin of Charlotte, NC, Josh Lubbers of Framingham, MA, Michael Megargee of Washington, DC and Barney Megargee of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Tom's name to the Shelter Care Ministry at St. Andrews Covenant-Presbyterian Church.
